How to create group product?

Creating group product requires defining new product with similar characteristics within the system to ensure that this product is properly managed and controlled throughout the complete production cycle. This includes specifying necessary attributes and parameters of it which helps maintain stock levels, arrange product catalog and guarantee precise inventory management.

There are multiple steps required to ensure that all necessary information is defined, and the product is properly created on the system.

Steps for creating group product:

  1. Click on Items -> Products icons, then select the + icon on the right side of the page.

  2. Select Item group then there will be two options for the user to create group product, 1st option by clicking on + Item icon or 2nd option by clicking on Generate Items.

  3. 1st option: click on + Item icon then user can select specific combination of the predefined characteristic lists as shown below then select Save button.

  4. The first combination appears and then user can add more combinations to define other products group as requested by repeating these steps again.

  5. 2nd option: click on Generate Items icon then system will suggest all possible combinations of group products and user can select the required alternative(s), then click on Next.

  6. Define parameters in the dialog box shown below, then click on Generate Items.

  7. Finally, system will generate all the required combinations of group products.

  8. Once finished click on Save icon on the top right of the page.
