Steps for creating Output Confirmation (OC):

  • User has two options to create Output Confirmation (OC): (1) Create OC for each Job Order (JO) one by one, (2) Create OC for group of Job Orders (JOs) but user has to make sure that the Job Orders selected to create Output Confirmation for it at the same time (grouped together for Output Confirmation) shall be at the same Work Center and not dependent on each other (at the same level).

  • First Option: Create OC for each Job Order (JO) one by one.

    • Select Make icon -> click on Job Orders tab at the top.

    • Click on the action menu in front of any Job Order -> select Release.

    • The status of the Job Order changed to be Released -> click on the released Job Order or any Released Job Order.

    • Job Order page opened -> click on + Output Confirmation at the bottom.

    • New Output Confirmation page opened -> select the Work Center & fill the Quantity -> Fill the Machine time, Setup time and Labour time (if required) -> click on Next button.

    • Enter scraps confirmation (if exist) -> click on Next button.

    • System shows consumption confirmation card with white color which means the consumed materials/semifinished products are available -> Click on Print label for Production and Scraps.

    • The Output Confirmation confirmed and the Job Order status becomes Done (only in case all quantity of the job order have been confirmed) as shown below -> click on Save symbol button -> Notice the completed Job Order(s) & Output Confirmations.

Note: in case only part of the quantity has been confirmed "not all the quantity" the Status of the Job Order will still Released but the confirmed quantity reflects to the stocks under unique batch number and the whole history of the confirmed batches will be recorded in at the bottom part of the Job Order Card as shown below.

The confirmed quantity will be under a unique Output Confirmation number along with the confirmed quantity and this quantity will reflect to the stock level of this Item as shown below.

  • How to select consumed batches for batch tracking:

    • Open/select the item required to be consumed via batch tracking Consumption rule.

    • Select Inventory management tab at the bottom -> select batch tracking from Consumption rule drop-down menu & fill Min/Max and Reorder point -> click on save symbol

    • Go back to Make module -> you will notice a yellow triangle next to the Manufacturing Order which has updated Consumption rule -> open the Manufacturing Order -> notice the yellow pop up message appears -> click on REFRESH -> notice the green pop up message appears which tells you that everything is updated and recalculated based on the last updated product data -> click on Save symbol button.

    • Go to Job Orders tab -> open the Job Order with the updated Consumption rule -> initiate Output Confirmation as explained previously -> notice the red card of the item with Batch tracking Consumption rule -> click on + Add batch for deliver to select certain batch from the stock of this item -> a dialog box opens with a list of batch(s) of this item stored in the warehouse -> select the required batch -> click on Add batch -> notice the color of the card converted to white and contains the required quantity of the item taken from the batch selected as required and done in the previous steps.
